I am a year 5 student in room 1 at Kawakawa Primary School in Northland, New Zealand. My teacher is Whaea Lizzie. This is where I share my learning. Please leave a POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL, HELPFUL comment.
I think that the woman's could should be payed the same amount of money because when they play and the woman's can have big hits like the all blacks.
I think the woman,s rugby should have the same the amount of money because the black ferns have 1 lost. And the the all blacks 2 lost is so I think that the woman's should have the same amount of money.
My name is Olive and I’m one of the new blog commentators in the Kaikohekohe cluster this summer! I’m working the Teaser Week and I’m super excited to see all your blog activities!
Congratulations on completing your first blog post! What a great start! I’m so glad you’ve chosen such an important topic to complete! Equal pay between men and women is so important! I really like how you mentioned some achievements the Black Ferns, for example, only losing once! Perhaps this was Rugby World Cup loss? I’d be so interested in the answer! I hope you can find out for me.
I agree with you! Women get big hits like men do! It’s awesome that you understood both genders are very successful in their sport areas. Kai pai for all your effort on this topic!
Keep participating in the activities, you’re doing a great job so far! What one has been your favourite? Remember the official start of The Summer Learning Journey is 16th December (Next week) so be sure to get online and check all the activities out! There’s lots of points at stake and some great prizes to win!
Thank you again for your great blog post, I’m looking forward to see what else you come up with this week!
Ngā mihi, Olive

Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great holiday so far :)
My name is Tayla and I am the Cluster Manager for the Summer Learning Journey in Kaikohekohe. I just wanted to pop in and say that it’s not too late to start the programme! You can find the activities here: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities
You can do any of the activities, so take a look at some of the options. I’m sure there will be something that you’ll find interesting to learn about.
